Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Pomodoro Technique good for studying?

Yes. Pomodoro works especially well for studying because it keeps your brain fresh. Short sprints of focused reading or practice, followed by small breaks, help you remember more and feel less overwhelmed.

What should I do during breaks?

Use breaks to move away from your screen: walk, stretch, drink water or just relax. Try to avoid scrolling social media so your mind actually rests before the next session.

Can I pause the Pomodoro timer?

Yes. Use the Pause button if you get interrupted. However, for best results try to treat focus blocks as “no-interruption” time and let the session finish without pausing.

Does this work offline?

The timer runs directly in your browser using JavaScript. As long as the page is open and loaded, it will keep working even if your internet connection drops.
