❓ FAQ

What is a good WPM speed?
Average typing speed is around 40 WPM. 60+ WPM is good, 80+ WPM is excellent and 100+ WPM is exceptional.
How can I improve my typing speed?
Practice regularly, maintain proper posture, keep your fingers on the home row, look at the screen instead of the keyboard, and focus on accuracy first.
Does accuracy matter?
Yes. High speed with low accuracy is less useful than moderate speed with high accuracy. Aim for at least 95% accuracy while increasing speed gradually.
How is WPM calculated?
WPM = (Total characters typed / 5) / minutes. We use 5 characters as the average word length. Errors reduce your effective WPM.
